United in diversity and uniqueness, this pageant was created by a former Miss International Canada and Miss Philippines of B.C. with her desire for women empowerment and to set a foundation for young women to thrive alongside women like themselves while emphasizing the diversity of modern Filipinas along with their dedication, discipline and development.

ADELYNN CUPINO-YAMBAO, DIRECTOR
Ms. Adelynn Cupino-Yambao had the honour of representing Canada and now, proudly strives to find our best representatives in the Miss Philippines International of BC 2019 Beauty Pageant. Her goal is to emphasize the diversity of modern Filipinas along with their dedication and personal development. A strong believer of women empowerment, she strives to integrate her international experiences with her interest in setting a platform for young women while showcasing their beauty; in ethnic pride, poise and personalities. She graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor's Degree majoring in Communications in 2007 and has worked for the Government of Canada while proudly raising her two children.

The title of Miss Philippines International of BC & Canada are based on the Director’s former titles: Binibining Pilipinas (Miss Philippines) International B.C 2002., Miss Petite International Canada 2003 & Miss International Canada 2004. She wanted to extend recruitment of candidates to all of Canada; thus, also founding Miss Philippines International of Canada.

Christina competed in Binibining IPEN Canada 2022 and won the title of Miss Ecology Canada 2022/2023. She will be competing in Peru in the upcoming year.

Shawna represented the Filipino community and was named Miss Vancouver 2019 First Runner-Up & Best in Catwalk.

OUR CANDIDATES
Candidates have opportunities to participate in special events, community projects and live shows.
2019-2022 events included modelling couture designs by renowned designers of the Philippines and guest appearances during Philippine Heritage Month. Special events highlights included: Vancouver Fashion Week, Ariana Grande: The Sweetener Tour,
Philippine Independence Day, and Canada Day. Titleholders have attended meet & greets with local and international celebrities.
Special features included interviews with The Filipino Channel and Vancouver Television.
